Kids Crafts: Balloons, Bubbles & Balls # 1

Craft: colored bubbles

Activities: Flyswatter Bubbles, Cotton Pickup, Water Balloon

Snack: Chewy Popcorn Balls

CRAFT: colored bubbles

You need:

Dishwashing liquid

Food coloring or washable paint

a straw

Paper

shallow pan

Directions:

Stir about 1 / 2 dishwashing detergent and 1 / 3 of water in alow baking pan (cold or hot) mix any kind of food coloring until you achieve the ideal color you want. If you use paint, make sure it is washable. Go out with the pot full of colorful bubble mixture. The upper end of the straw in the pan to lift it and blow through the other side to create a bubble, then slowly take the card and pop the bubble on it. Keep doing this with different paint colors, and you will see a big bubble of color image for printing!

You can skip the strawa lot of bubbles in the pot and then place a piece of paper to "absorb" the edge of the bubbles. It will print a nice holiday!

WORK: Flyswatter Bubbles

You need:

clean fly swatter

Bubble solution

Directions:

Fill a bowl with plastic bubble stuff and provide every child with a new, clean whisk. Do not dive to the bottom and then fly through the air to create tons of bubbles!

WORK: CottonPickup

You need:

Cotton balls

Vaseline

String (or towel)

Directions:

Spread cotton balls in a particular area. Each player has his hands behind his back, or hands in his pockets and vaseline on the nose. When the game starts, the player goes into a cotton ball, bends down and lifts the cotton ball with his nose. Be the first victories back or set a time limit and who makes the most cotton balls. You can even playwith the teams!

ACTIVITIES ': Water Balloon

You need:

Pennies or small objects

String

Marker

Clothing Line

Directions:

Children love these objectives fun spraying water pistols. Place a penny in a balloon. Blow it up and add a string. Tie the strings to a clothes line. To make it more fun, the faces and eyes may bulls are drawn on the ball. Hang balloons of many different sizes and string orchestraLengths to increase the challenge. Step back and take aim!

Snack: Chewy Popcorn Balls

You need:

1 / 2 cup sugar

1 / 2 cup light corn syrup

4 tbsp. Margarine

1 / 2 tsp. Salt

8 cups popcorn

Directions:

Do not add sugar, light corn syrup, margarine and salt in a large pot. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches a steady simmer. Add to popcorn mixture, stirring constantly, until allthe popcorn is coated completely. Remove from heat and let cool. Fill a medium bowl with water. Dip your hands in water to form the popcorn into balls the size of a tennis ball. Place the balls on a sheet of waxed paper and cool completely after putting each in a plastic bag or wrap it in plastic wrap.
